A family planner or weekly agenda is a must-have to keep track of appointments and activities in a busy family life. Playdates, school days, children's parties, school meetings, swimming lessons, dinner at the neighbors. Our new notebook is more than just a weekly planner.
Multifunctional weekly planner
The notebook provides an overview and promotes teamwork in your family. You can use each page in various ways.
1. Family planner/weekly agenda
What do you need to do this week and not forget? When is the sports training, the dentist appointment, or the birthday party? Write down the names of all family members on the left side and note the activities per day.
2. Chore schedule
Use the weekly planner to divide chores. Write down the tasks (such as cooking, clearing the table, and feeding pets) on the left side and fill in the names per day. You can't start early enough with this.
3. Parenting help
Here you use the weekly planner to promote independence. From making sandwiches and practicing piano to doing homework and learning tables or tests. Write down your child's name at the top and the activities in the left column. Plan when something needs to happen and put a cross or sticker when it's successful.
Under each day of the week, there is space to write down the date or what you're going to eat that day. At the bottom, there is a section to write down things you want to remember or do but can't really plan yet. These are chores and ideas that you want to do that week, such as buying a card, calling a plumber, renewing a passport, making a dinner appointment with friends, or buying a gift. Two more tips: Give the weekly planner a fixed place in the house and plan leisure time together.
With a dash of chat
Together with Michal Janssen, the author of our chat books, we have also added a "dash of chat" to the weekly planner. At the bottom of each day, you can evaluate that day with a simple choice question: What suits today best? Busy or quiet. Sunny or gray. Happy or angry. Dreaming or talking. You can chat with your family members about why.
The notebook has 52 identical pages, undated and glued to sturdy white cardboard.
Format: 30 x 21 cm.
